刘宇扬建筑事务所（ALYA）诚聘Atelier Liu Yuyang Architects: Recruiting Announcement We are a design studio that seeks truth and honesty in our everyday work, and aspires to serve the humanity by pursuing meaningful architecture in a sustainable environment. Founded in Hong Kong and based in Shanghai, the studio has a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from cultural institution such as the Shanghai Museum of Contemporary (MoCA), to urban infrastructure such as pedestrian tunnels along the Han River in Seoul, Korea and pedestrian kiosks along Nanjing Road in Shanghai. The office is currently undertaking a number of high profile environmental projects, such as the research laboratory and office building for the Qingpu environmental monitoring station, and a Canadian-based industrial & software design headquarters building in Kunshan which aims to obtain the first US Green Building Council LEED Gold certificate in the city. Our Design Principal Mr. Liu Yuyang has over 15 years of international practice, teaching and research experiences. While obtaining his M.Arch at Harvard, Mr. Liu coauthored with Rem Koolhaas the “Great Leap Forward”, a book on the Urbanization of the Pearl River Delta, China. Prior to relocating to Asia, Mr. Liu had practiced with the New York office of Skidmore Owings & Merrill and was a director of the New York- & Hong Kong-based Index Architecture. Besides dedicating full-time to his Shanghai-based practice, Mr. Liu serves an Architectural Advisor for the Shanghai Qingpu District Government, an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Hong Kong Shanghai Center, and was invited as a Head Curator for the 2007-08 Shenzhen-Hong Kong Biennale on Urbanism \ Architecture. Architectural Intern: candidate with good design and visualization skills, able to think independently and work collaboratively, willing to learn and develop a full range of professional skills 4.
